Product and Process!

We would like to start with thanking everyone for all the support we have gotten in the past few week! I am glad to see many eager customers that want to try your rakija product. We will be posting updates on our website whenever we have news to share.

Rakija

Now I would like to get into the product. The first rakija we will be selling is a shlivavica. This rakija is made out of plums that is grown at our farm in Serbia. These plums are grown with the richest soil and no preservatives or spray chemicals, making them the best organic plums out there. We will be selling the rakija in 750 ml bottles at first. In the long run we hope to expand to different fruits, ages, and bottle sizes.

Update

Sadly, we have to announce that sales will not start until 2024. That is because we did not have a great growing season this past year. The fruits are planted in the late spring and growing starts in the summer, so until then, we have no plums to make rakija with. We are very sad to say that sales will start towards the end of 2024.

Process

The fermentation process from plum to rakija takes a couple months to complete. But before it is even put to sit, it has to go through this lovely machine.

This machine has been used in my family for years. It basically turns plums and plum syrup into a vapor, which creates the amazing rakija. I think it is important for us to share the process with our customers so they know exactly how their bottle was created. It adds a special touch and connection from my family to your home and enjoyment in the rakija.
